Senior B6 Dynamites

The Dynamites....

The Dynamites played in grade B6 with it being a combination of some 21s players, some returning Club players, and a couple of new ones. The team was very heavy on defenders, so some players needed to play new positions and some had to work in new combinations. Despite some injuries and people being away, they started to get their rhythm half way through the season, and finished the season winning 4 of their 5 wins in the last 6 weeks. Their last round game was the decider for semi finals, however unfortunately they didn't get the win. Overall, for a new team coming together this season, they had started to blend which therefore led to much improvement in their play as a whole.

There were several players who had a great season: Annie had a great shooting game and was quite consistent, Chandla was inspirational through the mid-court and in leading the team, and Kaitlin was pivotal in defence. A special mention to Bec who worked hard all season on her footwork and passing, and who’s passion for the game was moving.
